The University Libraries offers faculty the option to set aside specific materials from the library’s collections for their students and courses.

Most physical materials within the library’s collection may be placed on reserve. Exceptions include audiovisual materials, non-circulating materials, and personal items. For more details or to place an item on reserve, visit the Course Reserve page.

Electronic materials are no longer placed on reserve by library staff, but we encourage faculty to add links for library materials directly in their Blackboard courses. For guidance on adding e-resource links to Blackboard, consult this Faculty Guide. Additionally, our copyright information and fair use resources may be useful to faculty who wish to upload files to Blackboard.

For assistance in finding materials to place on reserve, please contact your liaison librarian.
