What library resources can I use as a visitor?

We’re glad you’re visiting the library! If you’re not directly affiliated with the university, we recommend reviewing our Guest Policy and Visitor Information. These apply to all visitors: parents, siblings, children, family members, business partners, guest speakers, contractors, etc.

During your visit, please enjoy our library spaces and any on-site technology. If you’d like to use any library computers, printers, or online databases, just ask the library desk staff for a Guest Computer Pass. We only ask that you’re mindful of our academic calendar, giving our students priority access around exam weeks.

You’re also welcome to enjoy any on-site reading materials. We can’t let you borrow them, since you don’t have a library account with us. But we may be able to send our materials to your home library. Ask your library if they participate in Michigan eLibrary (MeL) or Inter-Library Loan (ILL).
